Frequently Asked Questions

 

Is ordering on your website safe?

Yes. Our online order system uses SSL technology to encrypt your sensitive data when you send it to us. To verify that the website is secure when you submit your payment details, lookout for the padlock symbol in the address bar or in the bottom right of your browser. For extra security, we do not store your card details once your payment has been taken, as a result you will need to enter your card details every time you shop online with us.

 

 

How will my order be delivered?

Orders for hardware will be delivered using TNT. If you miss the delivery you will be left a card, you must then contact TNT to arrange a re-delivery. Orders containing glass are delivered using Palletways and will require someone present at the delivery address to assist with unloading.

 

 

When will my order be delivered?

Hardware orders will be delivered within 3 business days (Monday to Friday) unless Saturday delivery has been chosen during the checkout process. Orders containing glass will be delivered within 5 days from day of purchase, if you require a more accurate delivery date please contact our customer services team on 01842 816086 or by email to sales@spiralhardware.co.uk.

 

 

I have received my glass but there is no hardware?

All full shower enclosures are shipped in a timber crate, the main compartment of which holds the Glass Panels and Seals/Glazing Channel/Tie-Bar if applicable. To avoid damage to the panels and reduce the crates shipping dimensions all other hardware (Brackets/Hinges/Tie-Components/Door Knobs etc) are in a sub-box fastened to the underside of the base at one end. Once the glass is unloaded flip the crate and unscrew the sub-box lid.

 

In some cases glass and hardware may be sent independant of each other (i.e. glass direct from supplier due to size / hardware dispatched from here by courier). Both deliveries will be coordinated to arrive on the same day unless previously arranged but can arrive at any point that day.
